 Why did I choose this speech 

Leonardo DiCaprio apart from being a well-known American actor, film producer, TV producer, screenwriter is an environmentalist and has given us many reasons to understand how the climate of planet earth has been getting worse and we have to do something about it and is one of the many reasons why I chose Leonardo DiCaprio's speech.

 

To begin with this kind of topics seem very important to me because not only we help us to think about the environment but to our welfare and we can support each other to be better in the habitats in which we live because nobody wants 15 years from now a planet torn to pieces with the extinction of species and a billion people affected by pollution in the air, one of the reasons why I chose the speech of Leonardo DiCaprio is because it gives us a very clear example that is the extreme weather events in West Antarctica as it has melted in the last years. One of the reasons why I chose Leonardo DiCaprio's speech is because it gives us a very clear example which is the extreme weather events in West Antarctica as the ice has melted and humans have not been affected but polar bears for them is fundamental the ice and also the end of hunting, without ice and more hunting, in 10 years we will only have polar bears as a reminder of their extinction.

 

This is not the only example if we can see the sea before it was beautiful and now we can see it more polluted with garbage and the fish, turtles, octopuses, etc. .... some of them die stuck in grass or for having eaten some kind of bad food or plastic so in order to live in a cleaner and healthier place in the world it is important that we recycle if we see garbage in the streets we stop to pick it up and put it in the garbage, and this is one of the reasons why I chose Leonardo DiCaprio's speech because we can support to have a better life with the passage of time and not cause the death of some animals that are not to blame and better take care of them so that we can have a better and cleaner world.  

 

To conclude I found this type of speech very important and informative because this way we can know how our planet has been getting worse and we can help it so that there is no more pollution in the seas and we can end the hunting for animals and their different skins.
